Display test data
The pixel tools run in your browser. They do not request camera, microphone, screen-capture, or file-upload permission. The site does not receive an image of your display, a count of suspected pixels, your custom or recent test colors, session observation notes, touch-grid trace, or decision-tree answers. Those interactions exist only in the open page and are discarded when the page is closed or reloaded. Device-workflow completion is the exception described under Local storage; it contains step identifiers, not observations or results.
Local storage
The theme control stores one preference named display-theme in browser local storage so the chosen light or dark appearance can be restored. Device workflow pages store the active workflow variant and completed step identifiers under versioned keys beginning with device-workflow:. Those keys do not contain screen observations, pass/fail results, notes, colors, or touch traces. You can reset workflow progress on the page or remove all values through browser site-data controls.
Analytics in this build
This build has optional analytics enabled through the deployment configuration. It can load Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. The integration may record page use and minimal tool events such as starting a tool, entering fullscreen, changing a pattern, or completing a sequence. It does not intentionally send custom colors, checklist answers, or interpretation selections. Review the applicable provider policy and deployment settings for retention and control details.
Advertising in this build
This build enables one or more Adsterra placements. The social-bar placement loads its configured script in the page. Native and sidebar placements load inside same-origin iframe wrapper pages, which then request the configured advertising scripts from bauval.org. Those network requests can expose ordinary request information such as IP address, requested resource, timestamp, user agent, and security signals to the advertising provider and its delivery infrastructure. The site does not intentionally add display-test answers, custom colors, notes, touch-grid data, or checklist state to those requests. Advertising-provider storage and subsequent data handling are governed by the applicable provider and browser controls.
Hosting and ordinary network data
Like any website, the deployed static host or network provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent, security signals, and cache status to deliver and protect the site. Retention and access depend on the host selected by the site operator. This application has no database or account system of its own.
