Results vary with the display and environment
Observations can change with panel technology, native resolution, operating-system scaling, browser zoom, color management, GPU rendering, display processing, local dimming, brightness, viewing angle, ambient light, reflections, surface contamination, screen protectors, and visual acuity. Fine patterns may be resampled, and camera photos may contain focus, exposure, sensor, or moiré artifacts.
Pixel language is not a final diagnosis
“Possible dead pixel,” “possible stuck subpixel,” “bright point,” and “possible surface speck” describe visual behavior. A dark point is not automatically a dead pixel, and a colored point is not automatically a stuck subpixel. Larger patches can relate to uniformity, backlight behavior, mura, image retention, burn-in, damage, or other effects outside a single-pixel check.
No repair promise
The site does not promise that color cycling, rapid flashing, or so-called pixel massage will repair hardware. It does not advise pressing, rubbing, tapping, heating, opening, loosening, or physically manipulating a panel. Follow product-specific safety and care instructions from the responsible manufacturer or service provider.
Returns, warranties, and service
Pixel policies and defect thresholds vary by seller, manufacturer, product, region, purchase agreement, and time. This site does not state a universal acceptable count and cannot authorize a return or warranty claim. Document your observation and consult the current terms that apply to your device.
